Acceptable use
Acceptable Use Policy
This policy (AUP) applies to the hosting, email and domain services provided by Purnukka Group Oy. It supplements the service agreement and the terms of use.
Updated: 26.6.2026
This is not legal advice. The terms can be reviewed by a lawyer before final use.
Scope
This policy applies to everyone who uses hosting, email or a domain delivered through Purnukka — the customer and every person and end user who uses the customer's service. The customer is responsible for ensuring that their own users also follow this policy.
Prohibited content and activity
The service must not be used for:
- illegal content or activity, including infringement of copyright, trademarks or other rights;
- distributing or hosting malware, viruses, phishing or fraudulent sites;
- spam or unsolicited bulk email (UCE/UBE), and mailing lists without the recipient's consent;
- intrusion, denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, forged headers or other abuse of networks or systems;
- material that harms children, illegal adult content, or content inciting violence or hatred;
- excessive resource use (CPU, disk, bandwidth) that endangers the shared environment or harms other customers.
Customer responsibility
The customer is responsible for the content they store on the service, for keeping software and updates current to the extent within their control, and for safeguarding their credentials and passwords. The customer is also responsible for the conduct of their own customers and visitors on the service.
Reporting abuse
Suspected abuse, spam or illegal content can be reported to abuse@purnukka.com. We handle reports without undue delay and aim to respond within a reasonable time. Please describe the target (domain or address) and the issue observed.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take the measures needed: request a fix, limit or suspend the service, or remove infringing content. We aim to give advance notice, but in serious cases — such as an ongoing attack, illegal content or an immediate risk to others — we may act immediately. Repeated or serious violations may lead to termination of the agreement.
Upstream and downstream terms
The services run on our partners' infrastructure. Our providers' terms (the hosting partner, and for domains NordName and the registry of the relevant extension) also bind your use. We reserve the right to comply with justified requests from these parties and from the authorities.
Changes
We may update this policy as the services evolve or regulation changes. The current version is published on this page.
