Domain terms
These terms describe how Purnukka may register domains on behalf of customers and what responsibilities are connected to domain services.

Registering a domain on behalf of the customer
Domains may be registered through Purnukka on behalf of the customer as part of setup or as a separate service. Registration is made based on the information provided by the customer.
Domain availability is not guaranteed until registration has been technically confirmed in the registrar or registry system.
NordName and C-Soft Oy
Domain registration is carried out through NordName / C-Soft Oy. NordName, C-Soft Oy and the registry of the relevant domain extension may apply their own terms to the registration.
For gTLD domains such as .com and .net, ICANN requirements and registrar terms may apply. More information can be checked from NordName and ICANN sources.
Customer details and accuracy
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of domain name holder details, contact details, company details and other registration information. Incorrect or incomplete information may prevent registration, cause suspension of the domain or make domain transfer difficult.
The customer is also responsible for ensuring that the chosen domain does not infringe a third party trademark, business name or other right.
Domain fees and renewals
A domain may involve registration, renewal, transfer or restoration fees. The first year may be included in Purnukka setup package if this is stated in the order.
Domain renewal requires that the service, billing and registrar terms allow it. Renewal fees may change according to the registry or registrar price list.
Availability and reservations
A domain search or preliminary check is only a snapshot. Another party may register the domain before final registration, and Purnukka cannot guarantee availability of a specific name before successful registration.
If the chosen domain is not available, an alternative domain can be found with the customer.
Transferring the domain to the customer
A domain can be transferred to the customer or to a provider chosen by the customer in accordance with the terms. Transfer may require payment of fees, authentication, a registrar transfer code and compliance with registry deadlines.
During transfer, email, DNS, website and other services connected to the domain may require separate technical changes.
